“Nomadland” Menang Filem Terbaik Anugerah Akademi Ke-93

Filem arahan Chloé Zhao Nomadland telah dinobatkan sebagai Filem Terbaik Anugerah Akademi ke-93. Upacara penyampaian Anugerah Akademi telah berlangsung awal pagi tadi. 

Selain Filem Terbaik, Nomadland turut membawa pulang dua trofi utama iaitu Pengarah Terbaik yang dimenangi Chloé Zhao dan Pelakon Wanita Terbaik yang dimenangi pelakon Frances McDormand. Sementara itu, filem Korea Minari tidak dapat mengulangi kejayaan Parasite apabila hanya membawa pulang satu trofi menerusi pelakon Youn Yuh-jung yang dinobatkan Pelakon Wanita Pembantu Terbaik. 

Kategori Pelakon Lelaki Terbaik dimenangi Anthony Hopkins menerusi peranannya dalam filem The Father manakala Daniel Kaluuya dinobatkan Pelakon Pembantu Lelaki Terbaik menerusi filem  Judas and the Black Messiah.
