End 2019 On High With Non-Stop Entertainment On HBO GO & HBO

As 2019 comes to a close, stream non-stop blockbuster entertainment and award-winning HBO Originals on HBO GO.

Catch the biggest mega blockbusters on HBO GO and HBO (Astro Ch 411 / 431 HD) every Saturday at 9pm starting with the animated movie WONDER PARK this Saturday, followed by AQUAMAN and THE LEGO MOVE 2: THE SECOND PART. Over the Christmas holidays, look out for THE GRINCH and ELF airing on 24 December at 12.45pm and 25 December at 4.30pm respectively. For fans of critically-acclaimed HBO Originals, don’t miss the highly-anticipated concluding episodes of WATCHMEN, set in an alternate history where masked vigilantes are treated as outlaws, and the fantasy drama series, HIS DARK MATERIALS, an adaptation of the award-winning trilogy of the same name that follows Lyra, a seemingly ordinary but brave young woman from another world, on Monday, 16 December and Tuesday, 24 December respectively on HBO GO and HBO (Astro Ch 411 / 431 HD). The episodes premiere same time as the U.S. at 10am with a same-day encore at 10pm.

Indulge in more festive gluttony as new episodes of the HBO Asia Original FOOD LORE premieres every Sunday at 10pm on HBO GO and HBO (Astro Ch 411 / 431 HD). In this anthology series that explores human conditions with narratives inspired by Asian cuisines, you will be taken on an emotional journey filled with passion, treasured memories and a little spice of Asia. The Japanese episode premieres this Sunday, 15 December and the series concludes with the Malaysian episode next Sunday, 22 December. Adapting Philip Pullman’s award-winning trilogy of the same name, which is considered a modern masterpiece of imaginative fiction, the series follows Lyra (Dafne Keen), a seemingly ordinary but brave young woman from another world. Her search for a kidnapped friend uncovers a sinister plot involving stolen children and becomes a quest to understand a mysterious phenomenon called Dust. The series stars Golden Globe® winner Ruth Wilson (“The Affair”), Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (“Hamilton”) and James McAvoy (“Atonement”).


Final two episodes premiere on Sunday, 15 December and 22 December at 10pm on HBO GO and HBO (Astro Ch 411 / 431 HD) 

Filmed across 8 different countries in Asia – India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore, the anthology series is about stories of love, passion and treasured memories, infused with “flavours of food” from each country. This series premiered at various international Film Festivals in Tokyo, Singapore and Germany. The Japanese episode is directed by Takumi Saitoh and stars Ken Yasuda and Asuka Kawatoko, while the finale episode from Malaysia is directed by Ho Yuhang and stars Wilson Tin and Fabian Loo. Tan Kheng Hua guest stars.
